Eva Guillamón hairdressing salon, Séneca 19, Barcelona.
Design of the space and most furniture: ladder, mirror, headwashers, workers’ lockers, clients’ wardrobes, work equipment trolleys, waiting sofa, etc.
The idea was to divide the space into a water zone (washing and dyeing) and a dry zone (cutting and styling). Like a swimming pool, the water area (floor and walls) was tiled with a turquoise mosaic. The dry area was finished with saffron microcement.
As the room had a high ceiling, we had the luxury of painting it ultramarine. The tubular shape of the room led us to create a glazed entrance with a pavé wall and glazed door.
Furniture made of galvanised iron.
